The New Wave Star 500 kW test section is successfully installed!
18 September was a great day in Wave Star Energy's history. The new pioneering wave energy machine wasinstalled in Hanstholm.

July 2009
The New Wave Star machine is on its way! At the end of September the new 40-meter-long Wave Star machine is to be installed next to Hanstholm. The machine is an abbreviated test section of the forthcoming commercial 500kW wave machine. It is used for testing and optimization before the final machine is put into production. Read more here.

May 2009:
Wave Star Energy and CBD Design were chosen No. 1 in the Biennial of Crafts and Design 7 May 2009.
The design award obtained for the new 500 kilowatt wave machine, and the model will be displayed on Trapholt in Kolding until 6 September.Wave Star Energy was nominated for "its highly original and striking sculptural design of a wave power machine, which in one single image symbolises and clarifies the huge potential of this renewable energy resource. Its technological qualities aside, the wave power machine constitutes a beautiful pendant to the clear form expression of the modern windmill".
